Fully vaccinated students don't need to quarantine after exposure if they don't have symptoms.
If a student has been fully vaccinated they do not have to quarantine if they are exposed to someone with COVID-19 but do not have any symptoms and it has been at least two weeks since they completed their vaccination series. This is an update from previous state guidance, which required that they received their final vaccination within the past 3 months.
A specific opportunity in our community is the federally-supported mass vaccination site at the Four Seasons Town Centre in Greensboro, where up to 4,500 Pfizer vaccinations are given daily. Appointments are available at www.gsomassvax.com or 888-675-4567 (English and Spanish). However, no appointment is required. Families and small groups are welcome to get vaccinated together. All COVID-19 vaccinations in the State of North Carolina are free and require no identification. The total vaccination process is typically less than 30 minutes.
