To sign up for this assistance, families experiencing financial difficulties must visit the Salvation Army Church on October 21-25th. The hours of operation will be 9-11:30 am and 1-4 pm on those dates.

Christmas Assistance - For those having financial difficulties
- Location: The Salvation Army Church 651 S. South Street, Mt. Airy, NC 27030
- October 21th-25th 2024
- 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
- 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
In order to apply for Christmas assistance you must bring:
- Picture Identification for adults in the house
- Birth Certificate, Medicaid, Identi Kid for kids (need birthdates)
- EBT Food Stamp Card
- Proof of Address (electric bill)
- Income verification (check stubs; etc.) If you don't get EBT
- Proof of ALL household expenses if you don't get EBT card
